 Yet further recognition for the Casali Sport’s Surfaces Line: the National Amateur’s League of the FIGC (Italian Football Federation) has approved a joint system for synthetic grass realised with the polyurethane glue Paste. Paste has once again been confirmed as a reliable product with excellent technical performance, ideal for artificial grass gluing systems used to lay football fields for the LND and SGS championships (School Juvenile Division) of the FIGC. |

 Yet another big match played under the banner of Casali Sport. The national tennis teams of Slovenia and Denmark met for the first round of the Davis Cup on a Confosport court on 10th, 11th and 12th February at the Velenje Rdeca Dvorana SRZ in Slovenia. The home team beat the Danish team 5 - 0 winning through to the second round which will be played in April. The court with its blue playing area and green outer alleys was laid by Sorghum d.o.o. (Slovenia), a historical client of Casali, with the Confosport system adapted for removable indoor applications, which ensures top level technical and sports performance and a wide range of customised colours, just like all the systems in the Grand Court line. |

 The week of celebrations for Falconara’s 50 years in volley ball ended with the interesting congress “Volley Ball, yesterday, today and tomorrow”; Falconara is the birthplace of Italian volley ball and boasts the famous companies Virtus and Gruppo sportivo Dinamis who later joined under the name of Pallavolo Falconara. The name of the white-green team is Kutiba (from the pharmaceutical product of its main sponsor, Acraf-Angelini) and it has won many important cups, including the CEV cup in 1986. Other historical sponsors of the team are: Api, Casali and Duna. |

 The FSB exhibition – namely the International Salon of Recreational, Sports and Aquatic Structures held in Cologne from 26 – 28 October lived up to its expectations attracting a much higher number of visitors and qualified exhibitors than the 2009 edition. And for Casali after-exhibition results are more than positive.
The new 50 sq.m. stand created especially for 20th Anniversary of the Sports Surfaces Line in 2012 (the Synthetics Division which includes the Sports line was in fact introduced in 1992) attracted numerous visitors from all over the world, many of whom are currently experiencing a time of considerable development in the sports system industry in countries like South America, the Middle and Far East, Russia and Eastern Europe. Grand Court, the new brand for Casali’s high-performance tennis court systems, which was presented at the FSB stirred great interest among technicians and sector operators alike. |

 GRAND COURT is the new brand under which Casali Sport tennis court systems will be known from now on. The brand which was officially presented at the 2011 Cologne FSB 2011 in Germany, was introduced to qualify Casali’s entire line of high performance tennis courts that has been used for years on world ATP and WTA circuits as well as by world famous Tennis academies (such as Vilas Tennis Academy, Coria Tennis Academy and Moya’s SD Tennis Academy). |

 2012 is an important year for Casali. The Synthetics Division and of course the Sports Surfaces Line, which is just as young and dynamic as its age, turn 20. Twenty years of research, tests, history, development of materials with the best resins, passion and hard work by all. Twenty years to celebrate and thank all those who have helped to attain so many important goals like the production of more than 10 million kg. of high performance resin, 4.300 tennis courts,1.300 multipurpose courts and three competition skating tracks in the world.
Twenty very important years that would not have been possible without the work of all our staff but above all the creativity, professionalism and commitment of Elvio Cardinaletti, Director of the Research & Development Laboratory, and founder of the line, who passed away in 2009 but who lives on in the heart of Casali; The date 1992-2012 which appears on our anniversary logo was taken from his calculations held on file by us as a tribute to an important personality who represented Casali’s policy of focusing on the human aspect of every relationship and business initiative, so very perfectly. |
