Nole gives Supersoft
There’s no stopping the trend of acknowledgement for Casali Sports Surfaces. After Buenos Aires, where David Nabaldian won the last edition of the Copa Argentina de Tenis (December 2007) on a Casali Supersoft court, it’s Novak Djokovic turn to emblazon Casali tennis courts.
In fact during the Humanitarian Day organised by the world’s n.3 in the ATP ranking (Belgrade, December 2007, in front of 20,000 spectators and officials), Novak donated two tennis courts - to be realised in Supersoft - to the city of Belgrade and in particular to the Olimp Sports Centre where years ago he hit his first shots.
These courts, originally destined to Novak Djokovic’s training (Nole to his friends), exclusively and technically sponsored by Casali and Sorgo (a company specialised in sporting structures in Slovenia and the ex Yugoslavian countries), will be handed over on the 22nd May 2008 – the champion’s birthday. Said date will also see the courts officially donated to the mayor of Belgrade before the highest authorities, sports journalists and sponsors.
A year rich in competitive emotion and technical satisfaction is expected for Supersoft and the other materials in Casali’s specialised tennis line.
