Fed Cup 2011, Women Tennis Champions play on a Confosport Court

The world of tennis prefers Casali yet again. On 17 April at the Minsk Indoor Sports Arena in Belarus, the women’s tennis teams of Belarus and Estonia played on a Confosport court to qualify for the World Group II of the Fed Cup, the premier women’s team tournament which was held in Belarus. The Belarus national team of Victoria Azarenka, Olga Govortsova, Darya Kustova and Tatiana Poutchek trounced the Estonian team of Margit Ruutel, Maret Ani, Anett Kontaveit and Eva Paalma 5-0, winning the play offs to advance to the 2012 Fed Cup in World Group II. After the Grand Slam of Aces in Croatia in December 2010, this was the final and prestigious consecration of Casali’s Confosport whose exceptional elasticity ensures technically perfect performance (classified in ITF Class 3), confirming it as one of the most widely used systems for indoor tennis courts for high level competitions.
